weird year, big things

Writing this from Los Angeles, where we moved in November after 4 years at the same house in Oakland, after 13 years living in the San Francisco Bay Area for me. I’m really excited for new things, still figuring out where to buy groceries, where the good hardware store is, those boring things you don’t think about when you decide to move. The holidays felt quiet and dark but filled with nice moments with friends. We stayed at a cabin in Big Bear for a week and went on forest walks with the dog and cooked some warm dinners. I made some really quiet pictures with a lot of glass in them, I’m looking forward to photographing some new people in LA soon :-)
